Dominican Republic Entry Requirements

Effective Sep 1 2021, all passengers traveling to the Dominican Republic must truthfully complete the information on the Electronic Ticket Portal for the General Immigration Office, the General Customs Office and the Ministry of Public Health. This form must be filled out by ALL passengers, whether Dominican or foreign, ENTERING or LEAVING the Dominican Republic. The physical forms can no longer be used; digital filling will be mandatory from today onward. The form can be filled out 72 hours before arrival/departure to the Dominican Republic and must be filled out for each trip.

  • Testing: COVID testing is no longer required prior to departure. However, random testing may happen upon arrival. Between 3 and 15% of passengers and those presenting symptoms will be subjected to an aleatory breath test, passengers under the age of 5 are exempted from this procedure.
  • Quarantine: A positive test result or passengers who present with symptoms will be isolated and attended to at authorized locations.
  • Documentation: All arriving and departing travelers are required to complete an online digital form (Electronic Ticket) which replaces all paper-based forms https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/  Use of this digital form will be mandatory as of 01 May 2021.  To save time, we recommend filling out the form 72 hours before departure, print or make a screenshot of the QR code and keeping it on hand until arrival where it will be scanned by authorities at Customs.
  • Health Screening: All customers traveling to the Dominican Republic will be subject to health screening, including temperature checks, and may include COVID PCR test.
