In lieu of the mandatory 14-day quarantine, customers traveling to Puerto Rico may provide a negative molecular COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 72 hours of arrival via the Travel Declaration Form
Customers arriving to Puerto Rico that have not been tested before arrival will be provided a Testing Authorization upon submission of the Traveler Declaration Form in order to authorize testing locally, at the customer’s own expense. The customer must quarantine for the duration of their stay or until tested locally and confirmation of results are properly submitted to the Puerto Rico Department of Health. It’s highly recommended to get tested prior to arriving on the island given the limited resources.
• Quarantine: All customers traveling to San Juan, PR (SJU) are required to quarantine for 14 days unless a negative molecular COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 72 hours of arrival is provided via the Travel Declaration Form.
Customers who have been tested within 72 hours prior to arrival but are awaiting confirmation of molecular COVID19 test results will need to quarantine until the results come in and are digitally submitted to the Puerto Rico Department of Health.
• Documentation: All customers traveling to San Juan, PR (SJU) are required to present
a completed Puerto Rico Department of Health form upon arrival. Please fill out and
submit the Travel Declaration Form online or Kiosks are also available for travelers to fill out the form upon arrival. The form is a requirement to exit
the airport.
• Health Screening: All travelers will be required to interact daily with the Puerto Rico Department of Health’s automated system for traveler vigilance and monitoring. Visitors will be required to respond to a simple set of questions related to current symptoms daily.

It is mandatory to wear surgical masks or the like (covering the mouth, nose and chin) inside the terminal at all times and at all times when in public spaces. Additionally at all times when travelling on interCaribbean Airways aircraft.
For most travellers, no quarantine will be required upon arrival; travellers who show symptoms of COVID-19 will be transferred to an area away from other passengers for further evaluation.
