The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of interCaribbean Airways aviation security operations, ensuring compliance with national and international security regulations, and managing a team of security personnel. This role requires expertise in aviation security protocols, risk
management, and incident response, with a focus on maintaining a secure environment for passengers, employees, and assets. This role is responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of interCaribbean Airways Security Programme, ensuring that all security functions are performed and that
procedures are implemented in compliance with applicable OTARs, TCI CAA Regulations, IOSA, other Regulatory Bodies and any other Company security requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
A Bachelors Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in aviation security, law enforcement, military or intelligence service, regulatory compliance or aviation operations with at least five (5) years’ in a managerial role.
Extensive knowledge of aviation security regulations and standards.
Ability to make critical decisions in high-pressured situations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Certification in Security Management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is a plus.
Proficiency in using security management software and systems.
