Fuel Surcharge Amendment Effective March 20 2022

interCaribbean Fuel Surcharge  (YQ) Amended  Effective March 20, 2022

interCaribbean Airways wishes to advise customers of an amendment of the surcharge across all flight’s effective March 20, 2022.  Bookings made as of 00:01 am March 20. 2022 will see an increase from the current $7.25 to $10 per flight segment.

The increase comes as a result of  further upward push of fuel prices we have experienced almost immediately we published the introduction of this fee.

For bookings made on or before March 20, 2022

All bookings that remain unpaid but paid on or before the ticket time limit stated in the booking, the surcharge increase will not apply.  Any changes post payment the surcharge will apply to those changes with no waivers.

Any booking that is auto cancelled for nonpayment before the ticket time limit and payment not made requiring dates reinstated, will be subject to payment of the Fuel Surcharge Fee.  No guarantee is given where a payment on a ticket time limit (TTL) is missed.  Customers holding a booking unpaid are encouraged to make payment well before the time  limit approaches.

We appreciate your understanding of the global events that have created an escalation of the prices of fuel.   We will monitor and advise and or adjust as necessary, mindful of the impact this may cause for all.

We thank you for your understanding and support as we continue to monitor Global Fuel price changes.
