Providenciales Airport (PLS) is closed from 6 pm on October 19 until 12 pm October 20, 2024 due to the effects of Hurricane Oscar. We will be monitoring its path and update as new information becomes available

interCaribbean Airways advises “Tropical Storm Oscar” is now Hurricane Oscar.
Turks and Caicos Airport Authority is advising Grand Turk is closing at 230pm and South Caicos for 3pm.
The following flights are now being cancelled

JY 151/152 – Providenciales – Grand Turk – Providenciales
JY 171/172 – Providenciales – Grand Turk – South Caicos-Providenciales

interCaribbean Airways advises of the weather disturbance presently to the east of The Turks and Caicos Islands is now named “Tropical Storm Oscar
.
By 8 pm this evening it is expected to be passing between the south of The Turks and Caicos Islands and Haiti. Wind speeds are expected at up to 40 mph in gusts.
Presently in Grand Turk the weather is overcast with no rain or winds. We will be monitoring this for any changes.
No impact is presently expected to operations today October 19, 2024.
