Bahamas Weather Warning
With the change in direction of Hurricane Erin the eastern side of Bahamas is under Tropical Storm alert. We will continue to watch this storm to determine flight operations for August 19th.

Customers who are affected by the cancellations may also place the booking on hold for future use at the same fare class and waiver of change fees, for rebooking no later than 25 August. Tortola
BVIAA has amended the NOTAM and the airport will now resume operations at 12:00pm* local today. Currently the main coastal road to the airport is flooded to retain water. The high road has also suffered a landside which is being clearing. We recommend customers leave much earlier than planned to go to the airport as travel on the roads may be much longer.

Tropical Storm Erin continues to head towards the Leeward Islands but has shifted direction to the WNW at 17mph as it nears the Eastern Caribbean Islands.
The forecast now shows that Antigua will feel Tropical Storm Force winds by 8pm local tonight Friday 15th August. Dominica is currently clear of the Tropical Storm winds.
Tortola will see the winds increase during Friday 15th night and the Tropical Storm winds are forecasted Saturday 16th at just after 6am.

interCaribbean Airways is Monitoring Tropical Storm Erin Notice 1
PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands. interCaribbean Airways is monitoring the development and projected path of Tropical Storm Erin as it moves through the Atlantic, with current forecasts indicating the storm will likely pass north of the Caribbean, with the possibility of affecting northeastern Caribbean islands, including the Leeward Islands, by the weekend of August 15-17, 2025.
While direct impact to most Caribbean islands remains uncertain, the storm could bring indirect effects such as strong winds and heavy rain to some northern areas, including the Bahamas and possibly Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Currently, all flights are operating as scheduled, and no action is required. We will update impacted flights or advise where cancellations become necessary in the next 24-48 hours.
