interCaribbean salutes opening in transit facility Providenciales

 

November 1st, 2016.  Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands.  Turks & Caicos based interCaribbean Airways is pleased to recognize the Providenciales International Airport (PLS) and the Government of the Turks and Caicos in establishing an in-transit facility, set to open shortly.  This new facilitation allows for an expedited transfer for any customer transferring onto another flight via Providenciales.

interCaribbean Airways see this new facility as one that will benefit the airport and the region with the means to increase flight frequency between Islands of the Western and Northern Caribbean, and build on Providenciales as a recognized gateway into the Caribbean.

Lyndon Gardiner, interCaribbean Chairman said, “We can now focus on the growth of travelers in the region, and build on the Premier of the Turks & Caicos Islands vision, to become “The Hub of the Caribbean”.  Having this facility will help us to build on this vision as air service is an important and integral element of business in selecting its base of business.
