Connecting Communities, Creating Impact
At interCaribbean Airways, we believe our role goes beyond flying passengers between islands. We are deeply committed to strengthening the Caribbean by supporting local communities through health initiatives, disaster relief, education, and economic empowerment. From partnering with the World Pediatric Project to transporting children in need of care, to delivering vital supplies during hurricanes and public health crises, our focus is on helping people where it matters most. Together with our employees, partners, and neighbors, we are proud to build a stronger, more resilient One Caribbean community.
Health & Disaster Relief
Sometimes a flight is more than a journey. For years, we’ve worked with the World Pediatric Project to fly children, their families and visiting medical teams to specialist care across the region.
When disaster strikes, we work with CDEMA to move relief supplies where they’re needed. In June 2026, after earthquakes struck Venezuela, we partnered with the Victoria Venezuela Foundation to raise funds for affected families. Find out more about our Venezuela donation initiative.

Education & Youth
Education and youth development are a core pillar of our work in the communities we serve.
After Hurricane Melissa, our customers donated when they booked with us, and we matched every dollar they gave. Together, we supported the Sandals Foundation in rebuilding the library at Kings Primary & Infant School in Jamaica, serving 195 students. The school also serves as a community emergency shelter.
We also fund five scholarships each year at the University of the West Indies, supporting Caribbean students as they pursue their degrees.

Sports & Culture
Sport and culture are an important part of how Caribbean communities connect, celebrate and come together.
Across our network, we support sporting events, cultural programmes and community initiatives that bring people together and create opportunities for participation.
In the Turks and Caicos Islands, we work with the TCI Sports Commission to support young athletes as they train, compete and develop.

Environment
Our coastlines are part of what makes the Caribbean home, and they’re under pressure. For several years, we’ve partnered with the Sandals Foundation on Going Coastal, bringing volunteers together for beach cleanups in countries across our network.
