PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos – August 19th, 2026 – interCaribbean Airways has opened a voluntary donation channel on interCaribbean.com to support families affected by the earthquakes that struck northern Venezuela on 24 June 2026.
The two earthquakes hit less than a minute apart, causing widespread damage across the region. La Guaira, Caracas and surrounding communities were among the hardest hit. Weeks later, families are still without safe shelter, clean water and basic medical care.
The airline is working with the Victoria Venezuela Foundation, which has established support centers for displaced families and is coordinating its response with trusted local organizations and community partners. Funds raised through the channel are directed to the Foundation’s earthquake relief work.
“The Caribbean is a connected region, and when communities are affected, support often reaches beyond borders,” said Trevor Sadler, CEO of interCaribbean Airways. “Giving our customers a simple way to support families in Venezuela is one way we can contribute, and we are grateful to the Victoria Venezuela Foundation for the work they are doing on the ground.”
Customers have two ways to contribute. When booking a flight on interCaribbean.com, customers can select the Venezuela Earthquake Relief donation option during the booking process and choose their contribution before completing payment. Customers who have already booked can still donate through Manage My Booking by entering their booking details and adding a contribution to their reservation. Donations are voluntary and separate from airfare and other travel-related charges.
Details of the Foundation’s relief work are available at victoriavenezuelafoundation.org. Full information about the initiative is available at https://www.intercaribbean.com/venezuela-earthquake-relief.html
