Turks and Caicos Islands, 12:00pm. August 15th, 2026 Update No 4
Tropical Disturbance AL92 has weakened into a tropical wave, bringing gusty winds, heavy showers and thunderstorms across parts of the Eastern Caribbean. Dominica is currently experiencing the greatest impact.
Based on current weather conditions and in the interest of safety, the following schedule changes have been made for Saturday, August 15:
Earlier departure
JY740 Barbados – Dominica
Departure moved forward to 5:00pm local time, 35 minutes earlier than scheduled.
Cancelled flights
JY741 Dominica – Barbados
Cancelled due to weather. Customers moved to JY707 on Sunday, August 16.
JY768 Barbados – Dominica
Cancelled due to weather.
We will continue to monitor the system closely and make further schedule adjustments as conditions require. Updates will be posted on the interCaribbean Airways website and social media channels.

interCaribbean continues tracking the path and movement of AL92 moving across the Atlantic. At this time the storm is approx. 350 miles east of the Windward Islands and has become less organized. Wind gusts and heavy rains are expected the evening of Friday and Saturday. Updates will be posted as we monitor the path for any changes.

interCaribbean continues tracking the path and movement of AL92 moving across the Atlantic. At this time the storm has become less organized. Wind gusts and heavy rains may fall on Friday and Saturday. Updates will be posted as we monitor the path for any changes.

interCaribbean has begun tracking closely the path and movement of AL92 moving across the Atlantic. We will monitor and post updates to the advisory and its potential impact on any airports and flights into or out of the Eastern Caribbean. At this time no flights are affected. The website will be updated as new information is available and any changes that may be required to scheduled flights.

Approx. 900 miles West-Southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.

Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for development during the next 2 or 3 days, and a tropical depression will likely form while the system moves westward to
west-northwestward across the central tropical Atlantic.
